Nicole Sanderson
Nicole has a true passion for working with children! She loves kids, and knew she wanted to be a teacher since she was 6 years old. Nicole is honored to help each child progress with their reading skills and aid them in their path to academic excellence. She strives to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment.
Nicole earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Dakota State University in Madison, South Dakota. She has 17 years of experience in education, working with children from kindergarten through eighth grade. Nicole has taught in third, fourth, and fifth grade general education classrooms, as well as a combination fourth/fifth grade gifted education classroom. Nicole has an active South Dakota Teaching Certificate with endorsements in middle school: math, science, social studies, and English language arts.
On a personal note, Nicole has been married for 25 years, and has two fantastic children. She loves watching her kids’ sports, enjoys relaxing at the lake, reading, live music, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
