Pam has always enjoyed working with children. She finds great joy in helping them learn new skills, especially in the area of reading. She loves books and bringing stories to life in a way that is entertaining, engaging, and educational. Her two children looked forward to bedtime stories and prayers throughout their childhoods. Her children, both now grown, are strong and avid readers and lifelong learners. Pam is looking forward to partnering with you and your child so they too can soar academically and learn to enjoy the reading process!
Pam earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary and Special Education at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD, and her Masters in Elementary Education at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN. She taught full-time for 10 years (two years in Special Education and eight years in Fourth Grade) and subbed for 5 years before adopting her two children as babies. Throughout the years, Pam has actively volunteered as a primary teacher at her church. She is presently teaching kindergarten boys at Central Church in Sioux Falls, SD.
Along with teaching, Pam has a health and wellness business where she educates others on how to live a more healthy and vibrant life. She also enjoys taking walks in nature, spending time with family and friends, exercising, traveling, watching movies, and going out to eat.
